Patients may present with severe pain, bleeding, fractures, head injury, breathlessness, loss of consciousness, shock, and multiple organ injuries.
Diagnosis includes rapid clinical assessment, vital monitoring, X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound (FAST), blood tests, and other emergency investigations to detect life-threatening injuries.
